MEET
DR. HORIUCHI
Dr. Horiuchi is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. He provides primary care as an internist and also specializes in pulmonary disease. He has additional expertise in sleep medicine.
Dr. Horiuchi attended Washington University in St. Louis enrolled in the distinguished Scholars Program in Medicine and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology as a Cum Laude graduate. He received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.
He completed his residency training in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He returned to Washington University in St. Louis for his fellowship training in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine.

Dr. Horiuchi has participated in numerous clinical research trials, with special interest in pulmonary arterial hypertension and interstitial lung diseases.
Dr. Horiuchi has lived in Sarasota, Florida since 2001 with his wife, Jennifer, and three children, Ashton, Tyler, and Alexa. He has served the community in various roles including the Pines of Sarasota Board of Directors, American Cancer Society Operating Board, and Monsters Lacrosse Academy Board of Directors. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, exercise, fly fishing, and travel.
